As you may know from the media, Mali is going through tremendous upheavals. The current war supported by the French seems to be pushing back the Islamic Extremists, but there remains so much more to do to establish a secure government and a strong military able to protect the integrity of the country’s territory, particularly in the vast reaches of the Sahara of the north.
